strop is a professional razor strop manufactured in Japan and has a thick durable cordovan horse leather strop along with 2- additional warm-up strops, one offering a hide surface with a relatively smooth surface on one side and a more course surface on the other side. Plus a woven canvas surface that I have applied a tripoli abrasive too. It is of the highest quality and the finishing leather is very, very smooth. Frankly, I prefer a more course leather but this strop would be perfect for someone who likes a high quality cordovan leather to strop their razors on. This strop normally sells for over $300.
